What vCard QR Generator can do
A whole contact card, not a link to one
The code holds a vCard 3.0 record — the same text format your phone exports when you share a contact. Name, phone, and email go in on this page; the full generator in nopa adds company, job title, and website. Because the card itself is in the pattern, a scan works with no internet and there is no profile page that could go offline or start charging.
Every field you add makes the code denser
A name and a phone number produce a light, forgiving pattern. Fill in six fields with a long company name and a website and the same square gets noticeably finer — on a business card printed at 2 cm, that is the difference between a scan that lands instantly and one that needs good light and a steady hand. Put in what people need to reach you and leave the rest out.
What a contact QR will not hold
No postal address, no photo, no second phone number, no social handles — those fields are not in the form. And the record is fixed once printed: a new number means a new code and a new print run, so on a business card it is worth pointing at the number you expect to keep.

What happens when someone scans it?
Most phone cameras recognize the vCard and offer to add the contact straight away. A few third-party scanner apps only show the raw text — the person can still copy the details out by hand.
Which fields can I include?
Name, phone, and email here — open the full QR Generator in nopa for company, job title, and website.
Can I include a postal address or a photo?
No. Those parts of the vCard format are not offered, and a photo would make the pattern far too dense to scan at business-card size anyway.
How big should it be on a business card?
Around 2 cm across is the practical floor for a name-plus-phone card, and give it a few millimeters of clear white on all sides — the quiet zone is part of the code, not decoration.
