What QR Generator can do
The link is inside the code, not behind it
Your URL is encoded directly into the pattern — there is no short link in the middle that could be shut down, rate-limited, or start counting you. The flip side: the code cannot be repointed later. If the destination might move, aim it at an address you control and redirect on your own side.
Shorter links scan from further away
Every extra character adds modules, and more modules means a denser grid in the same square. A 40-character link prints as a light pattern a phone catches at arm’s length; the same link with four tracking parameters bolted on gets fine enough that a camera needs to come close and hold still. Trim the path before you generate.
PNG here, vector in the full app
This page hands you a 480 px PNG — fine for a chat message, a slide, or a sheet of A4. For anything printed larger, open the full generator in nopa: it writes a 1024 px PNG and a real SVG that stays crisp at poster size, plus colors, dot styles, and a center logo. Adding a logo raises error correction from level M to H so the code still reads with its middle covered.

Will the QR code expire?
No. The code is a static image — it works as long as the link it points to works.
How small can I print it?
The usual rule of thumb is that the code should be at least a tenth as wide as the distance people scan from: about 3 cm for a flyer held in the hand, 30 cm for a poster read from three meters. Print it, scan it from where it will actually hang, and adjust.
Can I see how many people scanned it?
No — the code is a plain image, so nothing here counts scans. If you need numbers, point it at a URL your analytics already tracks and tag that URL with UTM parameters.
Can I add a logo or custom colors?
