What Watermark Image can do
Your text or logo, in the corner, the center or everywhere
Type your name, handle, or © line (up to 60 characters), or tap Logo and choose your logo file; a PNG with a transparent background sits cleanest. Put the mark in the bottom-right corner, in the center, or tile it across the whole image, and set the opacity so it protects the photo without hiding it. The full app adds nine positions and a text color.
No watermark of ours on your watermark
Some "free" watermark tools stamp their own brand on your result or make you pay to remove it. nopa adds nothing: the only mark on the photo is yours.
The mark is measured from the photo, not in pixels
Small, medium and large are shares of the photo’s shorter side (roughly 4, 7 and 11 percent), not a fixed pixel count. The same setting therefore looks the same on a 1000-pixel web export and on a 4000-pixel camera file, so a mark you tuned once carries over to the next photo. The inset from the edge follows the same rule, at three percent of the shorter side.
White lettering with a soft shadow
Text on this page is white, drawn with a soft dark shadow so it stays visible on most photos. On a blown-out sky or a white wall that shadow is faint, so raise the opacity or switch between corner and center to find a darker spot. Opacity starts at 60 percent. The full app also lets you pick a dark text color, which gets a light shadow instead.

Can I watermark several photos at once?
Yes, on Batch watermark or in the full app: up to 30 photos, the same watermark on every one, downloaded as a ZIP. This page stamps one photo at a time.
Does my photo get uploaded anywhere?
No. Your text or logo is drawn onto the photo in this browser tab, and neither file is sent anywhere.
What happens to the file format and the photo’s data?
A JPG stays a JPG and a WebP a WebP, except in Safari and on iPhone, which cannot write WebP: there it comes back as JPG, or PNG if it has transparency. An iPhone HEIC or an AVIF photo comes back as JPG, so it stays a photo-sized file; a PNG stays PNG, and so does a transparent AVIF. Redrawing the photo also drops its metadata, so the download carries no capture date, camera model or GPS coordinates.
