What Convert SVG to PNG can do
How to use
Choose an SVG and pick an output width: the file’s natural size, or 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels. Your browser draws the vector at that width and the result is saved as a PNG with transparency intact. Pick about twice the width the image will actually be displayed at, so it still looks sharp on high-density screens.
When to choose this format
PNG is easier to use in slides, social posts, and apps that do not support SVG.
Resolution is decided here, permanently
An SVG has no resolution — it is drawing instructions, so it is crisp at any size. A PNG is a grid of pixels, and the width you choose is the width it stays; enlarging it afterwards only makes it blurry. That trade is the whole conversion, which is why the width picker matters more than anything else on this page. Two things to check in the output: scripts inside the SVG are not executed, and fonts or images the file links to over the internet are not fetched, so text set in a webfont renders in a fallback face.
Everything that will not display an SVG
Chat apps hand it over as a file attachment instead of showing it. Google Docs and Slides will not take one. Social platforms reject the upload outright. Most email clients strip it. Word processors and presentation software from the last few years do insert SVG; anything older does not. A PNG sidesteps all of it, which is usually why a logo that already exists as vector gets rasterised at all.
Limitations
Complex SVGs may fail to render. Scripts inside SVG are not executed.

Questions
What size will the PNG be?
You pick the output width before converting — the SVG is rendered from vectors, so it scales without quality loss.
What happens when I continue on the desktop?
SVGs stay one at a time, here and on the desktop, because the output width has to be chosen per drawing. Drop several and the first one opens with its size options; raster formats are the ones that batch.
Which formats are supported?
This page converts SVG to PNG. Other pairs — JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, SVG — each have their own tool, gathered in the related tools on this page.
