What Convert SVG to PNG can do

How to use

Choose an SVG; it is drawn at its own size straight away. Then pick Original, 512, 1024 or 2048 px wide, and the PNG redraws at that width with the transparent background kept. Pick about twice the width the image will be shown at, so it stays sharp on high-density screens.

The PNG keeps the width you pick

An SVG has no resolution: it is drawing instructions, so it is crisp at any size. A PNG is a grid of pixels, and the width you choose is the width it stays; enlarging it afterwards only makes it blurry. If you need a bigger PNG later, convert the SVG again at the larger width.

Everything that will not display an SVG

Chat apps hand it over as a file attachment instead of showing it. Google Docs and Slides will not take one. Social platforms reject the upload outright. Most email clients strip it. Word processors and presentation software from the last few years do insert SVG; anything older does not. A PNG sidesteps all of it.

Limitations

Scripts inside the SVG are not run, and fonts or images it links to online are not fetched, so text set in a web font comes out in a fallback face. A very complex SVG may fail to draw.

Questions

What size will the PNG be?

First the size written in the SVG itself. Tap 512, 1024 or 2048 px and it is drawn again from the vectors at that width, with the height in proportion, so a larger width stays sharp.

Can I convert several SVGs at once?

No. Each drawing needs its own width, so SVGs convert one at a time, here and on the desktop. Drop several here and the first one opens; add the rest one by one.
