What PDF to JPG can do
One JPG per page
Every page becomes a JPG named after your file, like report-page-1.jpg. A one-page PDF downloads as a single picture; longer ones arrive as one ZIP, numbered in page order.
The resolution you actually get
Pages are rendered at 1.5× their PDF size (about 108 dpi) and saved as JPEG; the quality slider runs from 50% to 100% and starts at 80%. In practice an A4 page comes out near 893 × 1263 pixels: crisp on any screen, comfortable to read zoomed in, and well below the 300 dpi a print shop will ask for. It is an export for sharing and reference, not for reprinting a brochure.
Pages on white, and text becomes pixels
Pages are drawn on white, the way a PDF reader shows them. JPEG softens the finest edges a little. For crisp small print on a slide or a diagram, PDF to PNG saves the same pages losslessly. And once a page is an image, the words in it are just shapes: nothing to select, search, or copy out. If someone needs the text, send them the PDF.
