Convert PDF to Word
Choose a PDF and it opens right here as an editable document, with headings, paragraphs, lists, bold, italic and pictures. Fix what needs fixing, then download a .docx. The file never leaves your device.

What PDF to Word can do
See the Word file before you download it
Most converters hand you a .docx and you find out what is inside once Word opens it. Here the converted text is on the page first: read it, correct a misread line or yesterday’s date, and only then download. What you see in the box is what the Word file contains.
What comes over, and what does not
A PDF holds only letters at positions on a page, so the document is rebuilt from them: lines join into paragraphs, larger lines become headings, bullets become lists, and bold, italic, alignment and pictures stay as they were. The exact page layout is not rebuilt, and two text columns read as one.
Tables stay tables
An invoice, a price list, a block of requisites: when the columns line up, the table comes over as a real Word table, and “Download the table (.xlsx)” hands the same cells to Excel, amounts as numbers. Merged cells and a table pasted in as a picture come through as text.
Scans and photos of documents
A scan, or a JPEG or PNG photo of a page, is a picture of letters. The page recognizes the text in your browser: the reading model (about 5 MB) downloads once, and nothing is uploaded. It reads the first 20 pages; split a longer scan and read it in parts. Check names, numbers and dates.
Seven languages
Recognition reads English, Russian, Spanish, German, French, Turkish and Indonesian. The page’s own language is picked for you, and “Document language” switches it before reading. English is always read alongside, so e-mail addresses and company names in Latin letters survive in any of them.

Questions
Is there a daily limit?
No. The conversion runs on your own device, so there is nothing to count. Convert as many PDFs as you need, with no watermark in the Word file.
Is the download really free?
Yes. No account, no trial and no watermark of ours on the file: it is made in your browser, and you can save it as many times as you like.
Can it convert a scanned PDF?
Yes, and a JPEG or PNG photo of a page too. When a PDF has no text layer, the page offers to recognize the text right in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Pick the document’s language (English, Russian, Spanish, German, French, Turkish or Indonesian) and check names, numbers and dates afterwards, because recognition can misread a character.
Will the Word file look exactly like the PDF?
The text, headings, lists, bold, italic, alignment and pictures come over, and so do tables with clear columns; merged cells and exact positions do not. You see the result before you download it, so there are no surprises in Word.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. It is read in your browser, on this device, and never sent to a server.
Can I turn it back into a PDF after editing?
Yes. Edit the text in the box, then use “Save as PDF” under it, or download the .docx and keep working in Word.
