Why there is no upload step
Every well-known DOCX-to-PDF converter works the same way: your file goes to their server, gets converted there, and comes back. For a lease or a payslip that is a real cost. This page renders the document in your browser and hands it to the PDF writer your browser already has — the file never leaves the tab, and the fonts are the ones your own system knows.
Fix the text before you convert
The preview is editable. A typo, yesterday’s date, a missing name — correct them right here, then save the PDF. With server converters that means a round trip back to Word; here it is just a click into the text.

Is my file uploaded for the conversion?
No. The document is rendered and turned into a PDF in your browser. It never touches a server, and we cannot see it.
Why does it open the print dialog?
That dialog is your browser’s built-in PDF writer — choose “Save as PDF” as the destination. It supports every language and font on your system, which is exactly what a converter running without a server needs.
Will the PDF look identical to the Word file?
Simple documents — headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, pictures — come out clean. Pixel-exact layout with footnotes or columns is not preserved, and the page warns you when your file has them.
Does it convert .odt from LibreOffice?
Yes. Both .docx and .odt open and convert the same way.
Can I edit the document before converting?
Yes — the preview is editable in place. For bigger changes, open it in Documents in nopa and export from there.
